Jubilee is now two months old. I took her in for her check up and Dr. Tang finally prescribed some meds for her reflux, which should also help with the colic. She's right on target as far as all of her developmental stages go, but weighing in at 13 lbs and 4 oz, he remarked that she's as big as a four month old. On the bright side, like all colicky babies he reassured us that she would have a lovely round head from all the thrashing around she does. In reality she's a perfectly lovely baby most of the time, just like in the picture. The buzzy chair and the swing are our lifesavers!
Big Brother Jed continues to be an excellent helper. He often helps with the feedings and keeps her entertained in the car. He also helps in the grocery store when we are shopping and pushes her in her own cart. Lily on the other hand...not so sure if she's helping or not, although she always wants to be part of the action.
We've rediscovered swaddling--this seems to help a lot, especially at night after feedings. Mike calls it "baby jail."
