Thanksgiving 2011

Again we were able to celebrate Thanksgiving with Mike's family.  We made the drive up to Corning and picked up Lauren on the way taking out one Chevy Astro van at Berkley.  Luckily no damage was done to the Outlaw...  Our fabulous and generous hosts, Scott and Krista, gave us a warm and welcoming place to stay, and Donna and Aunt Fran did the shopping ahead of time and helped prepare delicious meals the several days we were there.  The first day we arrived, Wednesday, was spent resting from the long drive.  The next day, Thanksgiving, we slept in then feasted.  Later in the evening we watched Lady Gaga's Thanksgiving Special.  Interesting...  The remainder of the evening was spent playing 31.  The next morning we watched 1982 version of The Thing staring Kurt Russel and Jubilee's favorite character, Spider Head.  Unfortunately because of the mud, we were not able to play our annual football game, and neither Uncle Bubba nor Craig were able to make it this year, so it wouldn't have been the same with out them. Jed and Wyatt shot birds with bibi guns and then the girls rode horses. Below are some favorite moments of the trip.  For more pictures, click here.
