This used to be our family room, but has since been converted into the downstairs nursery.
This is the nursing station, complete with Boppy, pillows to support my back, remote control, pre-filled syringe with milk pumped from the night before, and the double pumps primed and ready to go.
Here's where several people used to be able to sit and converse or watch television. No more. Now it's the changing station with changing pad and two baskets with clothing, blankets, diapers, etc. / sleeping area / baby distraction zone complete with buzzy chair and swing.
During the week, my day usually begins around 6:30 with Jed holding the baby while I make breakfast. Then we eat, then nurse/pump/watch the Today show. Did you know it's four hours long? She sleeps and I take a shower. Then feed/pump/sleep. Repeat every 2-4 hours as necessary.
